CAMPSITE RENTALS (WINTER)

The following sites will be available from October 1st to May 15th:

Back-to-back double sites

Some sites will be available as double sites, meaning they are back-to-back sites that can be occupied by one RV. For example, site F1 and F28 can be considered a double site. These back-to-back sites will have 2 - 30amp receptacles available for power.

Back-to-back double sites are approximately 25' x 70' and are $1,250 per month during the winter months. This includes 2 - 30amp power receptacles, water, sewer and WIFI.

Regular site rates are based nightly as shown on the rates page and are subject to GST.

Inquire at the office if you are interested in staying year-round. If the office is closed call the number listed on the door for more information. Some of the sites listed above will not be available through the summer months as they are already reserved.

All vehicles and trailers on South Beach Gardens property must have valid road insurance at all times. Proof of insurance must be provided to the office.

Q. What hours is the office open?
A. Please see the schedule on the office door. The hours are quite limited in the winter months.
Q. What if I have an EMERGENCY and need assistance when the office is closed?
A. Call our after-hours emergency line at 250-328-9522.
Q. What are the hours for the showers and bathrooms?
A. The clubhouse is open 9am to 9pm daily from October until May. There is a code to get in which is printed on your receipt. It may change from time to time over the winter season. Showers require one loonie for every 6 minutes.
Q. What are the laundromat hours, facilities and costs?
A. From October to May the laundry facilities in the clubhouse are open 9am to 9pm daily. There is a code to get in which is printed on your receipt. It may change from time to time over the winter season. There 2 washers and 2 dryers available for use in the clubhouse. The cost is $3.00/wash load and the dryers are $3.00 for about 40 minutes of drying time. All machines take loonies only.
Q. Can I receive mail during my stay?
A. Unfortunately we do not allow any outside mail to be delivered to the campground's Postal Box for short term stays. You will have to get a PO box in town. London Drugs is the closest and is located at Cherry Lane Mall on Main Street. Inquire about mail service if you plan on staying yearly.
Q. Are you pet friendly?
A. Non-aggressive, quiet, leashed and picked-up-after pets are welcome. There are no areas in the campground that are off leash for dogs. There will be a $150 charge for each instance of excessive pet droppings on a customer's site. Multiple instances may result in eviction from the property.
Q. Are there sites with 50-amp electrical service?
A. We do not have any 50amp serviced sites in the F section. However, if you rent a double back-to-back site, you will have 2-30amp receptacles to use.
Q. What services are provided with the site?
A. 30amp or 2-30amp power, water, sewer and WIFI.
Q. Are fires permitted in the campground?
A. No wood burning fires are permitted at any time in the campground, however if you have a propane fire bowl you are welcome to use it. We also rent out propane fire bowls for $15.00 a day along with selling them in the store.
Q. Where do I call to get propane delivered in town?
A. Canco propane will deliver but they do not fill tanks that are less than 30 lbs. Please feel free to give them a call for more information at 250-494-0828.
Q. How do I keep my hose from freezing?
A. Customers must have a water hose with heat tape built in and it must be installed by November 1st. If you do not have one, then you will have to fill the tanks in your RV and disconnect the hose each time.
Q. What if I want to stay year-round?
A. Inquire about year-round stays in the office. Some sites in the F section will be available for long-term stays.
RV Units:
All RV units have to be approved by management and must be built no more than 15 years ago. Management reserves the right to deny entry to any person whose RV unit is deemed by management to be unsuitable for the park. Any occupant staying in a trailer must have a licensed tow vehicle on site capable of moving their trailer. No repair work or washing/rinsing of trailers and vehicles is allowed on site.
Sewer Tanks and Connections:
An airtight proper sewer hose and connection must be used. For example, a 90-degree fitting that threads into the connection on the ground. There will be a $25 charge for each instance where a customer requires assistance emptying their sewer tank.
Quiet Hours/Noise:
Quiet time is from 11 pm to 8 am. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Guests should leave the campground by 11pm.
Maximum 2 (two) vehicles per site. Vehicles must be parked at occupant's site or in designated visitor parking areas and must not obstruct other sites or roadways. No unlicensed vehicles are allowed in the park. The speed limit throughout the park is 8 km/h at all times.
Garbage:
Garbage and recycling are located across from the clubhouse near the entrance to the park along with one across from F1. Please take all garbage to the dumpsters and separate recycling.
Structures:
No inside furniture is permitted outside of the RV. Outside furniture must be store bought patio style furniture of tidy appearance.
Skirting must be used and installed from November 1st to March 31st only. It must be well insulated (e.g., 1-1/2" rigid insulation covered with good plywood or vinyl), aesthetically pleasing and approved by management. Proper vinyl skirting is preferred. Please keep the skirting neat in appearance.
We do not allow any buildings or decks on single sites or in any seasonal sites.
We do not allow any hay bales for skirting around RVs at any time.
Building and repairs:
Please do not use the campground for any building or repairs.
Smoking:
It is a good idea to keep a tin around your site to throw your butts in if you do smoke. Also try to be respectful of your neighbors especially if they have kids or do not smoke themselves.
Site Maintenance/Cleanliness:
All occupants are responsible for keeping their site in an orderly manner free of litter, debris and excess clutter. Please clean up any cigarette butts and dog piles immediately. There will be a $150 charge for each instance of an unsightly site. Examples of a site being unsightly include garbage on the ground, pet droppings, general disarray etc. Multiple instances may result in eviction from the property. Please note that campground staff will enter sites from time to time without notice for maintenance and landscaping.
